What a difference a few years make! 

Time to revisit my blog and get perspective on my life again.

Looking over the posts I made way back when , my life was filled with puppies and crafts, kids and mayhem. How things change, gratefully for the better .

Life has been bitter sweet recently, from serious medical challenges to meeting my forever soul mate and soon to be wed. 

A change of location and state of mind to be added to my accomplishment list .

I plan to update regularly and document the journey with words and pictures , whilst exploring issues relevant to my life . I hope you will

Our beautiful boy will be coming home on Friday and we are so excited. It will be the start of a new adventure for him and all his brothers and sisters x

We are so happy and only wish we could keep them all xx

Life is good ....

Loving life right now I have a wonderful new man in my arms and a spring in my step x 

My crazy life

 Well what can I say? It's been quite a ride lately!

I find myself in the middle of a wonderful adventure 

with a gorgeous new man and a fantastic life! 

Life takes me to Sharm El Sheikh to the new love in my life. 

It might seem a little strange and certainly extreme but 

right now I don't care. I am living life to the full and definitely have

A spring in my step.

I'm counting the days already habbibi till we will be together.

New Beginings

 

What can I say 2013 has been eventful so far.

I find myself now a single mum with three beautiful girls by my side.

Onwards and upwards and ready for all the new exciting 

things my life will bring watch this space.

Christmas prep !!

Today I received my wonderful Christmas Kit from 

Shimelle for the Journal Your Christmas 2012 challenge 

this year. Its full of wonderful goodies and I can hardly wait to get started.

The kit contains lots of wonderful themed products and is still available at

This is a wonderful kit and should contain enough goodies for the whole challenge so pop

Lili of the Valley Challenge.

CLASSIC CHRISTMAS

This week I took the opportunity to have a google around and look whats been going on it the world of craft and to share some of my new projects.

I wanted to take part in the Lili of the Valley Challenge for this week which involved making a card using a Christmas image.I hope you like it?

I used the Carol Singing stamp and coloured it using various sepia toned promarkers.The flowers are all from Wild Orchid Crafts .

 Something else I was working on is this altered frame. It was just a cheap frame from B&MS £2.99 then I just embelished it with Halloween papers from my stash . A simple and quick Halloween decoration.

Hiya all long time no see..!!!

So time for a catch up in the world of desk hopping.

As you can see my desk is looking rather full!!

I am currently at home recovering from a hysterectomy last week and

have bought myself a few things to keep me busy.

Lets see we have the fantastice new Bo Bunny Little Miss Collection.

This is a really lovely girlie collection suitable for all little princess's.

I also have the new Basic Grey Clippings collection for company , a more universal journalling type kit.

You can spy a recent delivery of pics from photobox who offer fantastic service and quality prints at 

a great price..

Finally a little light reading with the latest Scrap 365 mag and Im all set.

I have been being quite creative whilst Im at home and here are

 a few layouts Ive done this week so far..

Holiday Highlights

What a wonderful time we had on our recent holiday with the girls to Sharm El Shiekh, 

Sultan Garden Resort.

My husband ever the romantic treated us to champagne on the plane ,

a really nice touch and we got the chance to sit together and enjoy the trip.

We spent long days in the pool soaking up the rays and enjoying the all inclusive refreshmnets.

The weather was hitting 38/40 degrees every day , totally glorious.

We had fantastic time as a family , the girls were well behaved and it was a nice

rest before going into hospital for my surgery.

On tuesday 14th August I had a hysterectomy and am finding it very hard doing nothing.

I wish I was still lay on that sunbed soaking up the sun whilst recooperating...

Im feeling well and its still early days but Im hoping this will change my life for the best.

Fingers crossed. xx

Weekend Ramblings

What a brillant start to the weekend a wonderful promarkers demo with Vix and

the ladies from Victoria stampers.

I have lots of promarkers and now finally feel I can move forward and experiment 

with the colours and feel confident of a good result.

Thanks Vix for the wonderful tutorial and good luck at your upcoming demo day.

Not quite all of the babies but this handsome guy is

All very cute and gorgeous.

All these little kittens will be available for homing so if you are interested let me know.

They are from Champion pedigree parents and fab little British shorthaired examples of the breed so 

please ask if you are genuinely interested.

It seems I have the house to myself on this very rare Sunday bank holiday weekend.

All the children (and that includes dh) are at Chill factor snowboarding, check

me being sensible and staying warm and dry !!!

Oh well, I have a beautiful lamb dinner to prepare.

Birthday treats for Linda

I quick look at a yummy treat for my work colleagues birthday.

I tried a new design and technique with these cupcakes and I think a

 little more practice and Ill have it just right.

Shimelles 11th Challenge with 2 papers!

Ive wanted to scrap this picture of my late father for while but I find it difficult

 to do as I still miss him so much.

This was taken in happier times at our Daughter Rubys christening 

and its not a fab picture really but I was inspired by the bright colours of the flowers

 and when I found these green backing papers I thought it would be just right.

 So Shimelles Challenge 11 with two papers with one a third of the page ... check x

I am pleased with the results.. hope you like it to.

Jills Sprotts challenge 

 was to use two pics and a bold paper

 so I used this funny picture of Ruby...Doing here GOK WHO !! impression. 

I used a bold red and white stripe to compliment the red of her strippy dress then used elements of black and a little hint of green to bring it all together . Really enjoeyed this. ( sorry its sideways tried everything to rotate it , loosing the will now!!)

10 things on the tenth!

1, Ok so we have a very random list of things am grateful for
and have been doing to a list of things Im also looking forward to.
The above layout is very precious to me as it has taken me
8 years to do it.
This was the day me children met thier new sister for the first time.
Little Daneas face it a true treasure.Priceless as they say.

2, Oh so naughty my husband indulged my love of Baileys , not good for my diet, weight loss
currently at 3 stone so this will be eaten in very small quantities , probably a treat from working
hard at the gym !!!

3, My princess Sienna is due her babies on saturday and is very tired now and
we are very excited to see the little furbabies .
They will be british shorthaired chocolate torties very nice.....

4, Next is Chiang our Siamese , hes been poorly lately but I am glad
to say he is finally on the mend and looks well.
Hes a real character and we dont know what we would do without him.

5, Dare I say STEPS are my guilty pleasure and I am very much looking forward to going on the 26th April with my friend for her birthday.
Not before I have indulged this passion in the gay village Manchester this weekend with my daughter, who is home from uni.!!!!! yay !!!!!!
So excited and yes I know the steps,(pardon the pun ) and the words .!!!!lol.

6, My littlest child Ruby was very pleased with her chooccie stash and I was even more pleased with the scrapbooking opportunity although Ruby is known to strike a pose when the camera comes out !!!

7, Cake seems to have featured very highly this weekend .
I am trying to master this cupcake thing and have started using the Docrafts Bake site for inspiration. Do you think its working?

8, The girls were very creative this weekend and made an Easter Egg tree,
very nice.. the cats loved the pipe cleaners too !!!

9, this layout is dedicated to my daughters who have a very special bond as the eldest and youngest.
I am very excited as Robyn (eldest) is home on thursday for a visit from uni.
She is my best friend and I miss her deadfully so we will have great fun catching up
and she keeps my young taking me to clubs and pubs in Manchester,
its cool she thinks I dont show her up, guess I better keep the Steps moves under wraps.!!

10, All that remains is to say , this is me , 3 stone lighter
and wishing you all a Happy Easter season
and for those of you who gave up chocolate for lent....
