My beautiful girl has finally left home for pastures new.... a daughter is a wonderful gift to any mother and I will be wishing and sending all my love to hear each and every day. I will miss her more than words can say but I knew this day would eventually come and she would be the confident beautiful young woman she has today. When I saw that you are a "mum," I already knew that you must be in England. Maybe the word is used in other English speaking countries, but, as an American, I'm no aware of it.
